Camp SAY offers Sliding Scale Tuition so every child can attend Camp SAY!
With Sliding Scale Tuition every family can enroll for camp and enjoy a Camp Tuition rate based on their individual financial circumstances. For any family who fears that the tuition gap might be too wide to enroll their child, we highly encourage them to fill out the Sliding Scale Family Worksheet today.
Camp SAY Sliding Scale Tuition ranges from $50 – $3,550, and to date, no child has been turned away due to a family’s financial situation.
How the Sliding Scale Tuition Process Works!
Any family may enroll for camp today and indicate that they will be filling out the Sliding Scale Tuition Family Worksheet (this Worksheet can be completed online at the time of enrollment, or you can print the Worksheet and return it after enrollment.)
The Worksheet is a simple form that helps us determine a family’s Sliding Scale Tuition rate, and a Sliding Scale camp travel rate (if desired). Tax returns are not requested/required. Camp SAY will quickly review the Worksheet and confirm the Sliding Scale Tuition rate (based on a family’s adjusted income, plus any unique circumstances outlined). This process typically takes 5-7 business days.
How can Camp SAY offer Sliding Scale Tuition & Travel?
Camp SAY is a program of SAY: The Stuttering Association for the Young – a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. SAY’s staff and Board are committed to creating an environment of equality and not letting financial barriers get in the way of a child’s access to Camp SAY. Through SAY, our camp enjoys the unique opportunity to offset reduced tuition costs associated with our Sliding Scale Tuition Program. To date, no child has been turned away due to a family’s financial situation.
