Camp SAY Across the USA: Orlando was an incredible day of new friends and BIG FUN during the 2019 ASHA Convention! Campers had a blast playing games and getting to know each other while their parents found empathy, support, and community during an educational sharing session.
Later, the award-winning documentary My Beautiful Stutter played to a capacity crowd of campers, parents, SLP’s, Speech professionals and honored guests as part of the 2019 American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Convention. Guests interacted and exchanged ideas with Ryan Gielen (Director), Taro Alexander (SAY’s Founder and ASHA’s 2019 Annie Glenn Award recipient), and SAY kids featured in the film during the amazing and informative Q&A that followed.
Deepest thanks to everyone who came to Camp SAY Across the USA: Orlando with open hearts and minds. You made it a memorable experience for all of us!
